Sundays are reserved for self care, so I would make sure we got pedicures at Gossip Nail in Cypress and had brunch on the water on Boardwalk in TowneLake. My favorites are Hearts, Bottles Blonde, Standard Bar and Sugar Room. The next evening we would venture out and go bar hopping down Washington. During the evening we would go dancing and bar hopping in mid-town at Wonder Bar for cute Instagram pictures. If my best friend were in town, we would get in a great lifting session working out at one of my favorite gyms, Be Fit, in East Down, followed by a cheat meal at Tout Suite. We are the glue for our families and I want to see more women putting themselves first instead of giving themselves whatever is left over.Īny places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to? I want it to be a movement, where women are bolder, confident, healthy versions of themselves. I want Bold Body Fitness to be known for more than just fitness. Referrals and word of mouth are one of the best ways to expand your client base and earn more income. Bold Body also adapted to the changes and went virtual with our group boot camp, which is still going strong! One of the best pieces of advice I can give to a personal trainer is ask your clients for a referral. I opened a 1:1 only training gym in my garage during the pandemic and was fully booked almost immediately. I saw many gyms close last March, ours in Southwest Houston was included. I am proud of Bold Body not only making it through the pandemic but also thriving through it. I truly understand the struggles and the steps it takes to help my clients achieve their results. I understand my clients when they want to either lose or gain weight because I have been on both sides. I have been overweight and lost almost 100 lbs I also have had to build my curves. A few months later I was laid off from my full time corporate job and decided to pursue personal training full time. I started Bold Body Fitness in 2019 as a side job. My mission is to show women how to live their a healthier, bolder life. I felt like who better to help women lose weight than someone who has been in their shoes.
